A 26-year-old Wanniassa man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (Monday, 14 October) charged with sexual assault offences following his extradition from Queensland.

Police will allege the man sexually assaulted a 17-year-old girl in her north Canberra home on September 10 this year.

Criminal Investigation detectives extradited the man from Brisbane on Saturday (12 October), and took him to the ACT Watch House where he was charged with burglary and sexual assault offences.
