A 42-year-old woman returned a blood alcohol level nearly seven times the legal limit after a collision in a Tuggeranong carpark, police say.

She will face the ACT Magistrates Court today (27 April 2018) charged with driving a motor vehicle with alcohol in blood/breath and driving under influence of liquor/drug.

ACT Policing said that about 11 am on Friday, 13 April 2018 police attended a collision and conducted roadside breath screening which indicated a positive result for alcohol for one of the drivers.

The woman was taken to Tuggeranong Police Station for a breath analysis, which returned a result of 0.335, nearly seven times the legal limit of 0.05.

The woman’s full driver’s licence was suspended immediately.
