The arrest of a woman in a Belconnen carpark has led to the recovery of hundreds of allegedly stolen items.
Officers were called to a carpark on College Street at about 5:15 pm on Wednesday (3 August) where they believed there was a white Hyundai Tuscon which had been reported stolen last month.
When police arrived a 38-year-old woman was allegedly found inside the vehicle, and she was subsequently arrested.
Officers then searched the car, where they found hundreds of items that they believed had been stolen.
This included 65 phones, six iPads and tablets, three laptops, five sets of wireless headphones, 15 pieces of jewellery, five gaming consoles, five cameras and a sound bar.
The woman has been charged with ride/drive in a stolen motor vehicle and possession of stolen property.
