Zed on the move

The Tennant and District Times has a piece on Senator Seselja’s plans to get his electorate office “out in the suburbs”, which one suspects is code for the bowels of Tuggeranong.

He will, however, see out Gary Humphries’ lease in Civic.

Good move!

Kate Lundy has an office in the city where she does….

hmmm …hang on, hang on …. well, something.

And now Zed will have a shopfront in Tuggers to do whatever it is that he might do, too!

(In a postmodern sense, doing nothing is conceptually the same as doing something; we are just socially conditioned to perceive it differently.)

…so I guess that makes me a philosopher, and not a bum! Yay! 🙂

There’s a vacancy at Fadden shops, just a 2 minute drive from Zed’s place. It’s a predominately Liberal voting suburb, so he’d be among friends. Most of the residents are away working in Civic/Woden/Tuggeranong during the day and there’s no passing bus route to bring in the OAPs, so he’d be free from distraction. Sounds like a perfect hidey hole.

It’s just 2 minutes from my place as well, so if indeed he does set up shop at the Fadden shops I’ll be sure to voice my political concerns regularly and loudly.

And I thought the appearance of this article in the CT was proof-positive of what a sleepy long weekend we’re having here in the throbbing political heart of the nation! Anyway, this is good news for at least one Tuggeranong landlord.
