Hey Vic Bitterman – I used to have a Uniden digital scanner but couldn’t get it to pick anything up. What scanner do you have?

I find that comment really tasteless.

The light has just gone out of a father’s eyes forever.

He’ll be taking tranquilisers and sleeping pills just to get by. He will never forget the horror, and will carry his pain until the day he dies.

I can’t believe anyone would try and politicise something like this. I’m sure Jon Stanhope would never sink as low as you have done.

What is it with suicides in Canberra-Queanbeyan lately?? There seem to have been a lot in the last few months.

What is going to happen in the next few months as the recession hits and people start losing their houses and all their super – there will be noone left to vote for Jon and his friends – and the taxes will have to go up again to cover lost revenue due to lower population.

I was listening to my emergency scanner last night Ant, I believe this one was the suicide of a girl. Her dad came home to find her body. Won’t go into any more details.

Police observed evidence of forced entry and an empty box of premixed alcohol cans on the floor of the store. There was also blood on the glass door and inside the store.

Clearly, he was irritated at the increased price on pre-mixes (thanks to the new tax), and decided to get himself some the cheap but not-so-easy way.
