I will go out on a limb and say that they migt have a partial disability and therfore do not require a whole space.

It’s probably more like i couldn’t give a fark attitude that seems to be more prevalent these days.

A car parked similar to this at O’connor, and a police officer drove past.
My partner waved the police officer down and pointed the car out, and asked him to write a ticket. Police Officer did nothing, and then drove off.

Note: I have a disability, and was going to a doctors appointment, and could not get a parking spot close by that day.

Now that i think of it, perhaps they should have followed the policeman, whilst flashing their lights and beeping the car horn, until he agreed to turn around give the illegally parked car a ticket.

are ACTPol even able to write up a ticket for parking in a disabled spot?

You mean like the half disabled space left by the Falcon in the photo above? It is also worth noting that in many instances, cars that use the parks have a disabled driver AND passenger. I know you like to stir the pot, but you do see the flaw in your logic, right?

Yes, they can issue the full range of parking tickets. However, parking tickets are low on the priority list compared to the other stuff they have to deal with and Canberra has dedicated parking inspectors for parking related issues.
