1. Official statement on the Richardson tragedy:
- ACT Policing is investigating a collision in Richardson Sunday March 29 which resulted in the death of a 17-year-old female.
About 7am, police were notified that a 19-year-old male had since died from injuries sustained in the collision.
Shortly after 1am, police were called to Clift Crescent, Richardson amid reports that a Holden Commodore sedan had collided with a tree.
The remaining two occupants, a male and a female, remain in the Canberra Hospital in a serious condition.
The Collision Reconstruction and Investigation Team will be continuing their investigations into the incident.

- ACT Policing is investigating an incident in Higgins Saturday March 28, 2009.
About 1.15am, police were called to Drake Brockman Drive near the intersection of Cussen Street, Higgins.
Upon arrival police found a 58-year-old male taxi driver being treated by ACT Ambulance officers for severe injuries to his foot.
Initial investigations indicate that two male passengers attempted to steal the man’s taxi, when the driver intervened he was dragged by the vehicle and sustained the injuries to his foot. The two offenders then exited the vehicle and fled the area on foot.
The victim was conveyed to Calvary Hospital by ACT Ambulance for further treatment.
