ACT Department of Urban Services wins National e-Government award.

Special Minister of State Gary Nairn’s electorate of Eden-Monaro borders the Australian Capital Territory and, since his election, it’s been a blood sport for him to make things difficult for the ACT Government.

So it must have vexed him greatly to have to put out a media release saying the ACT’s Department of Urban Services is the inaugural winner of the Award for Excellence in e-Government.

“The ACT Government has received the award for its Learner Licence Knowledge WebTest, a single online database which allows Canberrans to undertake exams for their learners permits online” Minister Nairn said.
