1. Trouble in the Serbian Club car park:
ACT Policing is investigating an incident in Mawson in the early hours of Sunday morning (August 8 ) in which two youths were assaulted and had their property stolen.
Police attended the carpark of the Serbian Club in Mawson around 12.40am after it was reported that two male youths, one aged 16 and the other 15, had been assaulted by a group of youths.
Both of the victims were kicked and punched in the incident, and their mobile phones were stolen.
The main offender was described as a Caucasian male with a fair complexion and medium build. He is aged in his late teens, with short hair and possibly with a “rat’s tail”. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper.
The incident followed on from a party which had been held at the Serbian Club on Saturday evening (August 7) from 11pm, in which a number of gatecrashers attended and several windows at the club were broken.
