Three cars have been involved in a serious motor vehicle collision at the intersection of Drakeford Drive and Erindale Drive at Greenway.
An ACT Policing spokesperson said traffic is being severely affected in all directions and motorists should avoid the area.
It is unknown how many people have been injured in the accident, but ACT Ambulance has been in attendance, along with ACT Fire and Rescue and numerous officers from ACT Policing.
ACT Fire and Rescue conducted rescue operations, while paramedics from ACT Ambulance assessed two people at the scene and transported at least one person to hospital.
That person’s condition or injuries are unknown at this stage.
The accident, involving three cars, has closed Drakeford Drive at the intersection of Erindale Drive.
The accident occurred shortly after 6:00 pm on Sunday (26 July) and emergency services and tow trucks are on scene to clean the area as soon as possible.
Police are expected to remain on scene for some time while the investigate the accident.
