The SMH reports that on the back of a shocking season with dwindling crowds and expensive medical bills the Brumbies are going to post a loss for the financial year.
“We’re still hoping to break even, but the likelihood is we’ll be presenting a small loss,” Fagan told ABC radio on Thursday.
“Our crowds are down.
“We’ve also had a couple of hundred thousand dollars-plus in injury expenses, given our massive injury toll, and the upgrade to contracts that leads to.”
When the team start putting in the big ones the crowds may return, although June is no time to be sitting in the dark at Bruce.
