Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Marley and Stark are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Marley

Marley is a sweet, young dog who is yearning for a human friend to hang out with and teach her all the important dog skills. She arrived at the shelter with little training, but she is quickly picking up new skills to be a wonderful dog. Marley has learnt how to sit, fetch, and give the tennis ball back.

As a young pup, Marley still needs someone to help teach her how to be an indoor dog, as she is still a little clueless about where she can be and what she can do. She would do so well with a family who can put in the time to train her well and show her the household guidelines.

Marley does love to lean in for cuddles and can be a beautifully social girl and she can get extremely attached. Marley has many years of companionship and love to give to the right person.

If you would like to meet Marley, please come on down to the shelter.

Stark is the hero we all need.

Rabbit of the Week – Stark

Meet Stark, a lovely rabbit who was surrendered to us through no fault of his own, and he’s now looking for his perfect companion. He is a young and curious bunny who enjoys frolicking around his enclosure. He is a Netherland Dwarf/Rex rabbit and has quickly charmed everyone at the shelter.

He would suit a home that can give him lots of attention and socialisation, with plenty of space to run around and get into mischief.

Stark didn’t get along with his brother Jarvis very well, but he could potentially live with another already desexed female rabbit. He would suit a loving family with children who are rabbit savvy and want to give him all the love that he deserves.

If you would like to meet Stark, come on down to the shelter and chat with the team.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
