Dog of the Week – Poppy
Meet Poppy, she’s a sweet, loving girl who came to us quite cautious and unsure of her surroundings. But she has now blossomed into the loving girl we have all fallen in love with at the shelter.
Poppy is hoping to find a fit and active, loving family who want a special companion by their side. She would be perfect in a home with a large yard where she can run around and be with her people. If you want to live a life where your dog is your world, then Poppy is the girl for you.
Poppy would benefit from some home-alone training when she first enters her new surroundings. But once she settles in, she will become your loving companion.
Poppy can enjoy the company of other dogs and has previously lived with male dogs. She’s energetic, so a resident dog must be playful and tolerant.

Meet Benji, the lovable boy looking for someone to give him a home that can provide him with love, structure and companionship.
Benji is an intelligent boy who is eager to learn how to be a fantastic companion. He is extremely food and treat-motivated and has excelled in his training at the shelter.
Benji loves his people and would ideally suit a home where he is the only pet as he is such a loving dog that he doesn’t like to share.
Benji walks well on the lead and greets people nicely when he is out and about. Although, when he is at home, he likes to alert his family of people arriving.
Benji has a lot of potential to become a great companion to anyone who has the time to invest in a dog. If you are looking for a new best friend, then look no further than Benji.

Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday: 9:00 am – 4:00 pm
Sunday and public holidays: Closed.
