Anyone got room for a Red?

The Age has a detailed story on the machinations behind the final of the Australian Provincial Championship.

It seems the Brumbies were very clever in losing to the Reds by one point and thereby shutting the Force out of the top two of the competition. If the Force had finished in the top two then they’d been promised a home final.

The problem now is that with Floriade on there aren’t many hotel room available to put up the visiting Queensland Rugby team and there is talk of giving Queensland the final.

This of course is totally unacceptable. I have two sofa futons and a spare bed which I’m willing to make available in exchange for 3 tickets to the game. Anyone else willing to put a Red up for a couple of weeks?

UPDATED: RugbyHeaven reports that the Brumbies are under no circumstances relinquishing the home final.

ANOTHER UPDATE: The Canberra Times is reporting that the game is definitely going to be at Viking Park on Friday night.

Anyone know the chef up there?
-A little ‘something’ mixed into their tucker should do the job nicely…

They are now staying at the AIS residences!

Thought I saw you up at the ‘tent’ Embassy…

I’ve got a tent and a small patch of grass

I type too fast. Should read, “They could always try the Lodge, it’s available.”

They could always try the Lodge, it’s always available.

hmmmm, they didn’t say that they would be plyaing the game in Canberra though did they?
just that they’d maintain a home ground advantage, which could be leading to the rumors of them playing the game in Woollongong instead
