Balaclava-clad home invaders strike Manhattan apartments

Three men in balaclavas forced their way into a Manhattan apartments home in Civic on Tuesday night, threatening the man and woman who live there, leading to an altercation that left the 31-year-old man hospitalised with head injuries.

The woman, who is 26 years old, suffered minor injuries.

The assailants left with a small amount of cash.

ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to the aggravated burglary, which occurred at around 9.50pm on Tuesday, March 14.

All three male offenders were wearing dark clothing, with two having been identified as Caucasian in appearance.

ACT Policing Criminal Investigations attended the scene and investigations are ongoing.
