Anyone know where I can find em in Canberra?
Will settle for the seasoning and other ingredients too if anyone can help with that.
Thanks in advance!

Calibre Cafe & Bar at Westfield Woden serves Cajun Spiced Potato Wedges for $9.50. The website (with menus) is http://www.calibrecafe.com.au. It’s in the south-eastern side of the plaza, near the cinema.
bacon salt? No, please, no.
It’s good with two minute noodles…
I ordered some Baconnaise a few weeks ago, but unfortunately they were out of stock. The concept intrigues me.

lol, it’s not actually salt if that helps, it’s a salt replacement with a glorious concoction of chemicals that make it taste just like bacon. I can see it taking over the world…
Not so sure about the Baconaisse though

I can’t order from there again. Picked up some Crisco for an American-style marshmallow fondant as part of a larger order. The cake was a hit, so we ordered another five pounds for various upcoming birthday events. Mentioned in conversation that they must’ve wondered why the hell we needed five pounds of Crisco and nothing else. Gay mate cheerfully advised me that it was well known as an excellent fisting lube, so they’d just assume I was having a good time.
Good question!
We need a Five Guys in Australia! Best cajun fries.

I highly recommend the bacon salt, “coz everything should taste like bacon” 🙂
Coyote Cafe – Ground Floor, 220 Northbourne Ave.
Across the road from us at the ABC.
Very Yum
Cajun seasoning – the spice aisle of your supermarket. MasterFoods makes an expensive one in a small jar, though you can also get it in a packet for, what, a buck?
Fries – follow J Kenji Lopez-Alt’s recipe (link goes to article about the science of french fries and the development of the recipe – link to recipe at the end of the article).
