Australia Day Live is a national tribute to everything that is great about Australia and being Australian.

Australia Day Live 2011 will feature an all star line up of home grown talent who will rock the lawns of Parliament House on Tuesday 25th January, including a special performance by iconic children’s entertainment group, The Wiggles!

The format for this year’s celebrations has undergone some exciting changes that will be sure to surprise and delight all age groups. Pack up the family, the picnic rug and your patriotic dress and come to Canberra for an evening of celebration and entertainment.

The celebrations will kick off at 6pm with the Australian of the Year Awards. The Wiggles will then hot potato it to the stage to get the party started with a special 20th birthday performance from 7.15pm-8pm. They will be followed at 8.30pm by an epic line-up of the hottest Australian Musicians, with spectators set to enjoy the sounds of Little Red, Ross Wilson, The McClymonts, Jessica Mauboy, Stan Walker, Altiyan Childs, Thirsty Merc, the sensational dance moves of Justice Crew and the Chooky Dancers, 80’s rockers Ganggajang and a special satellite performance from Aussie music legend Jimmy Barnes.
