Chisholm man faces drug trafficking charges

A 27-year-old Chisholm man will face the ACT Magistrate’s Court today (10 December) after ACT police found a large amount of cocaine at his home yesterday.

The man will face charges of trafficking a controlled drug other than cannabis after ACT police executed a search warrant at the man’s residence.

During the search, police located approximately 477 grams of a substance believed to be cocaine, with an estimated street value of more than $175,000.

The man was arrested and held at the ACT Watch House overnight.

Police urge anyone who may have any information about illicit drugs to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
