Over three nights the Canberra Miniature Railway is holding its biggest and most spectacular event of the year: Christmas on the Rails. They have Canberra’s biggest animated light show with thousands of computer controlled lights and dozens of lit Christmas figurines. Santa will be appearing at 6 pm and 8 pm, and you can ride a train up to his grotto at the top of the hill to visit him before taking another train back to the station.

The dates are Friday 17, Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 December 2021. Gates open at 5:30 pm and close at 9 pm (rides will continue until about 9:30 pm).

The canteen will be open with delicious hot & cold food & drinks available for purchase (including proper coffee!). EFTPOS/cards accepted.

Please note enclosed footwear is required to ride the trains – no thongs or sandals allowed.

Tickets are $15 per person (free for children aged 3 or under) and include entry to the park, unlimited train rides and visits to Santa.
