Tuggeranong Art Centre’s Lakeside at 5 monthly jazz program presents the April Rose Mills Trio.
April Rose Mills is a local singer and composer with a keen interest in many musical styles. She has recently returned to Canberra after completing a Bachelor of Music Composition at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music, and has performed as a singer within jazz, classical and contemporary scenes in Sydney and Canberra.
Don’t miss Canberra’s newest jazz vocal sensation, when she teams up with guitarist Michael Larsen-Collins and bassist Eric Ajaye for Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s Lakeside at 5.
Join them for an afternoon of jazz standards from the American Songbook and a selection of original songs and contemporary pop songs reworked in the jazz vein.
