Australian country duo NeillyRich are launching their debut album, Love Bender, at Magoo’s in Kingston on Friday 27 November.
Love Bender (the album) is the debut full-length record for the duo. It’s a culmination of years of work, writing, driving, performing, and traveling, ending in a Nashville recording studio under the wing of renowned producer, Jamie Tate.
Love Bender, the single, is a drinking song and a love song combined – describing love to anyone can sound like a cocktail! A little bit of sweet, some sour, and some hard liquor can be an enticing mix…not just over the bar, but in love itself. Love Bender is just that, with a catchy groove encapsulating the naughty nature of the song – a playful take on what could be described as a love song, just with a whole lot of rum mixed in.
With a history of writing drinking songs, Love Bender was co-written by NeillyRich (Matthew McNeilly-Woolley & Amelia McNeilly-Woolley) with fellow Australian country songwriter, Matt Scullion.
