Join us for STEMFest@SERC, an engaging and educational festival designed for young minds aged 3-8! This interactive event will spark curiosity and introduce your children to exciting STEM concepts through hands-on activities.
Based at the University of Canberra, the STEM Education Research Centre (SERC) is an international leader in education research, with a focus on the domains of Science Technology, Engineering and Mathematics.
Event Highlights:
- Interactive Learning: Children will explore four activity stations featuring blocks, construction challenges, mapping tasks, and iPad-based games.
- STEM Passport Adventure: As they navigate through each station, participants will collect stamps in their STEM passport, celebrating their progress and achievements.
- Rewarding Experience: Upon completing their STEM passport, each child will receive a small prize as a token of their participation and encouragement.
Event Structure:
- Duration: 60-minute sessions
- Schedule: Three sessions per day across three days
- Registration: Pre-registration is required with limited spots available to ensure a high-quality experience for each participant.
