A fallen light pole across the Barton Highway closed the busy road in both directions on Wednesday afternoon (3 October).
Around 3:30 pm, emergency services were called to Barton Highway near Northbourne Avenue after reports a light pole had fallen and blocked traffic.
An ESA spokesperson said a car collided with a pole, causing it to fall across all lanes.
The pole was removed from the road around 5 pm.
No injuries were reported.
