Guitar lessons

By Dazzlar 23 July 2009 5

Has anyone got suggestions of where I can go for good, reasonably priced guitar lessons?

Not too concerned where they are but would prefer they not be too far North!

Thank you.

The Music Learning Centre, in Phillip. =) Ask to get lessons of Daniel Miller, he’s an amazing guitarist and a really good teacher.

Yeah, there’s lots of self-teaching resources available, but a good teacher will ensure that you develop and maintain good technique, which is the solid foundation for being a decent musician. Without a decent technical foundation, learning will take much longer and you’ll end up with bad habits that will plague your playing.

Find any song you like, and there are no shortage of teachers. Keep looking until you find what you’re after.

Oh, and subscribe to Guitar Techniques magazine.

You’ll be rocking the free world in no time.

Is Wanniassa okay? If so, you could try Dennis Walters on 6231 8192.

Better Music recommended him to us and our daughter is doing really well with her lessons. $30/half hour lesson.
