ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an incident in Kingston on Friday morning (October 7), in which several vehicles were damaged.

Police were alerted by a member of the public that several vehicles had been damaged in Giles Street Kingston, near the new foreshore development.

It is believed that sometime between 12.30am and 6.30am on Friday morning an unknown offender smashed the side window of ten vehicles, parked outside a block of apartments in Giles Street.

Police also discovered another vehicle with similar damage in Eyre Street. The total damage to the vehicles is estimated between $5000 and $10,000.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen a person or persons acting suspiciously in Giles Street or Eyre Street, near the Kingston foreshore, between midnight and 6.30am on Friday October 7, to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the website www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.

Only place in Canberra I’ve ever seen an Aston Martin. Sounds like quite a bust-up.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if you own an Aston you are not going to park it on the street at night…

I think a demilitarised zone is in order between Kingston and that other suburb.

Come down to Tuggeranong where an inordinate number of people are driving Merc E classes, Porsche Cayannes and even a Jaguar XJ regularly seen at the local shops. What it must be to live like a Miami drug king pin.
