Lost keys

Morning riotact,

I lost a set of keys yesterday. So if you found a set a keys in Page, on the morning 313 bus going to civic, or around the civic interchange, the morning ‘3’ bus or near DFAT. Please drop the site a line.

The keys are as described:
A Holden car key.
A blue key and a yellow key.
Two security lock keys.
A bottle opener that looks like a small metal plate with ‘SOPHOS’ stamped on it.

I Lost my CAR key and house key in HOLT while walking from Cazaly close to kippax on 20th July 2019. I dont have a spare key to my car. Its on a catholiccare lanyard.

Yes, I certainly have.

I do have a spare for the car but in my infinite wisdom, I placed it in the boot during a house move. I saw it on the weekend and thought “hrmm, that’s not a good place for it.” *closes boot* and left it there.

Does anyone know why car keys are SO expensive? The electronics involved are peanuts and getting a key cut is $10 or so. Is it just “because we can.”

Sucks even more if you happen to lose the master key and have to replace the entire system.
