Man wanted for allegedly assaulting passenger in Gungahlin

Police are investigating reports of a man violently assaulting a passenger while he was driving through a number of streets in Gungahlin on Sunday, 6 September.

Police have spoken to numerous people and believe there are still members of the community who witnessed the assaults who are yet to come forward.

Investigations began after ACT Policing received multiple reports of a male driver allegedly assaulting his passenger in a white 4WD ute as the vehicle was driven through a number of streets in Gungahlin.

Those streets include Hibberson Street at about 4:10 pm, the Gungahlin Marketplace car park at about 4:15 pm, Burdekin Ave at about 4:20 pm and the intersection of Unaipon Avenue and Pemulwuy Street a short time later.
