ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to a collision involving a pedestrian and a car at the Jamieson Shopping Centre in Macquarie on the morning of Sunday, November 27.
Around 9:45am, the victim, a 64-year-old woman, was pushing a shopping trolley on the access road within the Centre car park when a Toyota Hilux, travelling west bound collided with her trolley.
As a result of this collision the woman fell to the roadway and sustained a number of injuries. She later attended The Canberra Hospital after her condition deteriorated and was admitted due to her injuries. She is currently in a stable condition.
Police would urge anyone who may have witnessed the collision in the car park at the Jamieson Shopping Centre to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via the Crime Stoppers website on www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Information can be provided anonymously.
