It’s time again for Canberra’s canine community to come together and raise funds for RSPCA ACT.
The Million Paws Walk is Canberra’s premiere pet event where animal-lovers can mingle, chat and celebrate their furry friendships. It is a great day of family-friendly fun designed to entertain, inform and educate the community about important animal welfare issues.
The day is packed with activities, attractions and live entertainment, including:
- Over 70 stalls including food and beverages, merchandise, pet services and art & craft stalls
- Live music and entertainment throughout the day
- Agility canine courses and demonstrations
- Flyball at Rond Terrace
- Competitions and plenty of prizes
- Vet advice
- Aussie Pooch dog mobile washing service (all proceeds going to RSPCA ACT)
- Mugshots instant photo booth (all proceeds going to RSPCA ACT)
As someone who attended this event for the first time last year, I also feel it’s important to point out there’s likely to be dogs in hilarious costumes, such as this one:
Funds raised will go towards vital programs, services and campaigns undertaken by RSPCA ACT, as well as supporting the daily battle to stop animal cruelty.
When: Sunday 18th May. Join in the fun from 9:00am -Walk starts at 11:00am.
