Meet our lovable pets of the week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!
Thia and Angelica are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These lovely animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below!
Cat of the Week: Thia
After last week’s Million Paws Walk double-feature on canines, we received significant meows and hisses from our cattery occupants, so this week, to keep the peace, we’re featuring two cats.
First, meet Thia.
No, you’re not seeing things. She is indeed missing both of her ears. She arrived at our shelter with pretty nasty cancer on her ear tips, and she’s obviously undergone surgery. She can hear perfectly fine, though.
Thia is a lovely girl now that she’s pain free. She doesn’t love getting picked up, but she’ll often snuggle onto your feet and let you know she’s there and wants to be part of the family.
Come and meet the streamlined Thia, a sweet girl who desperately needs a cosy home and a family to call her own.
Cat of the week: Angelica
The second of our ‘No Dogs Allowed’ article is the playful and energetic Angelica. This girl wants to play and explore your house!
She loves chasing things and is easily entertained. She’ll tunnel through whatever is around and provide hours of fun! She uses her cute little paws and claws to play with people, but don’t worry, she’s very gentle.
One cool thing to add about this girl is that she’s a bit of a talker, so you’ll need to enjoy cat conversations. Another is that she’s so adventurous that she even enjoys being taken for a walk on a leash! (Yes, this is your opportunity to be THAT cat owner.)
Drop by and visit Angelica, have a chat, see if you click! She’d love to see you, as would we.
Pawnote: Our sincerest appreciation for all of you who attended our Million Paws Walk event last Sunday. It was a glorious, fun-filled day, and we genuinely feel spoiled by our animal-loving community.
Visit RSPCA ACT at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life. You won’t regret it!
