Police and family search for missing Griffith woman

ACT police are seeking the public’s help to find a Griffith woman who was reported missing by her family late on Tuesday night (25 February).

An ACT Policing spokesperson said the family of 37-year-old woman Shelja Dua hold serious concerns for her welfare and are requesting the public’s assistance in locating her.

Shelja (also known as Shelly) has not been seen or heard from since about 10.00 pm on Tuesday night. She was reported missing by her family on Wednesday. She was last seen at her home in Griffith.

She is described as being of Indian appearance, about 157 cm (5’2”) tall, with shoulder-length black hair and of slim build.

She was last seen wearing a green sleeveless top and light blue jeans.

Shelja is believed to be driving a blue Mercedes A160 hatchback with ACT registration YFB 98B (similar to the vehicle pictured).
