Police investigating fire in abandoned Dickson building

ACT Policing are investigating the cause of a fire in an abandoned building in Dickson on Wednesday night (10 October).

Around 10:15 pm, emergency services were called to a structure fire at an abandoned building in Hawdon Place, Dickson.

ACT Fire & Rescue attended the scene with three pumpers, breathing apparatus vehicle, an aerial appliance and two commanders.

Firefighters contained the fire to the loading dock area and there were no injuries.

The scene was handed over to ACT Policing.
