- ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an armed robbery of a pizza delivery driver in Gordon last night (June 1).
About 9.20pm the male victim drove to an address in Flegg Crescent, Gordon to make a delivery. He stopped his car in the driveway of a residence where he was approached by two males.
One of the males threatened the victim with a splintered piece of wood while the second male demanded money and the pizza. Both males fled the area on foot along Michael Holt Crescent, Gordon.
The male offenders are described as about 17 to 18-years-old, approximately 5’10” (178cm) tall, of Caucasian appearance, both were wearing tracksuit pants, one was wearing a white hooded jumper and the other was wearing a grey hooded jumper.
Police conducted a search of the area and recovered the piece of wood believed to have been used in the robbery.
Police are urging anyone who may have witnessed any suspicious activity or persons in the area, around the time of the offence or who knows the identity of the offenders to contact Crime Stoppers.

2. Spence stabbing:
- ACT Policing is responding to an incident at the Spence Shops on O’Neill Street after receiving reports that a male had been stabbed at the location just after 4.45pm, 2/6/2009
ACT Ambulance treated a male person at the scene before transporting him to hospital.
Investigations are continuing at the scene.
