1. The return of Thuggy Tuggies?
- ACT Policing is seeking witnesses to an assault and robbery in Richardson last night in which two teenagers were punched and property stolen.
The victims, an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old female, alighted from a bus and were walking along Clift Crescent in Richardson around 6.15pm yesterday (Monday, May 4) when they noticed a group of males walking behind them.
One of the following group then approached the male victim from behind, and punched him in an unprovoked assault. All three males then began assaulting the male victim, who fell to the ground. The female victim attempted to intervene but was also punched.
One of the assailants then stole the female victim’s handbag and the group ran off along Clift Crescent in the direction of the Calwell shops.
One of the assailants is described as between 17-19 years old, 5’9” (175cm) tall, with olive skin, short dark hair, and with an Australian accent. He was wearing dark pants, white sneakers and a black hooded top.
The second assailant was also between 17-19 years old, 5’9” (175cm) tall, with a skinny build and short hair gelled up in a spikey style and possibly with a mullet. He was also wearing dark pants, a black or dark-grey hooded top and white sneakers.
The third assailant was also between 17-19 years old, with olive skin, and wearing dark pants. All three offenders wore dark-coloured tops with the hoods up over their heads.
