Hi everyone,
My name is Sean and I’m running the Pot belly Battle of the Bands commencing this Saturday 1st November, every year its held its a wonderful celebration of up and coming acts plus a useful forum for established bands to continue plying there wares. Unfortunately this year there seems to be a lack of bands, this is not out of any form of disenchantment or alike emotion but more due to the fact that the original dates I was given were wrong so the bands who were booked have to a large extent had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts. So I’m putting a shout out to all people who love music to contact all the bands they know, or at least alert them to this post or the link below because I NEED them, for this Saturday and following Saturdays throughout November.
There are prizes:
1st prize – “Buzzsaw” guitar plus $300
2nd prize – $200
3rd prize – $100
Heat times (There are available times for all heats still):
1st heat – 1st November (Short notice I know but if you’re free and in a band, there is a set open for YOU)
2nd heat – 8th November
3rd Heat – 15th November
Semi Final – 22nd November
Grand Final – 6th December
