Something of a rite of passage for Canberra’s young singer-songwriters, Acoustic Soup has returned to the Food Co-op in 2021 and Lily Morris, Yasmine Hosseini and Kim Yang are all set to appear today (17 March). Expect to sit on a milk crate and partake in a pot of something tasty at this tastemaker evening of music.

Canberra’s premier post-rock band Lost Coast is celebrating the one-year anniversary of their self-titled album with a Sunday celebration at sideway. Also on Sunday, Homegrown Sounds continues their Sounds of The Suburbs series at Gang Gang Cafe with s.wells and Sumi joining Yasmine Hosseini under fairy lights at the iconic Downer venue.

Loveable indie goths Chins are getting ready to launch their first single this Saturday at Smith’s Alternative. They’ll be giving their audience a sneak preview of the songs they’re planning to release over the next 12 months.
