Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Charlie Brown and Kit are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week: Charlie Brown

Meet Charlie Brown!

This ball of energy is looking for a home that can keep him busy. As a terrier and corgi mix, this pup loves to work. He dreams of paddocks, sheep to round up or even just a yard to protect, and of course, endless balls to fetch.

While he is a small boy, don’t underestimate this fun-sized pup! Charlie Brown is a pocket rocket that needs just as much exercise and attention as a bigger dog would need. Charlie is very clever and ready to learn all about boundaries, following the rules and how to be the best boy he can be.

With the right owner, Charlie Brown has the potential to be a great buddy for adventures, games and lots of walkies. He is only 10 months old and still has lots to learn, but he is excited to start his next journey!

So, if you’re fun-loving, energetic and patient, come on down and meet our Charlie Brown!

Kit

There’s a lot of Kit to love (but nothing a little dieting won’t fix).

Cat of the week: Kit

Much like his chocolate counterpart, Kit the cat is a sweetie that can help you relax and take a break. Kit is just over six years old and very much ready to settle in as an adult cat. He is looking for a warm, loving home without other pets to distract from his radiant energy.

Unfortunately, Kit does like to eat his feelings which has resulted in a couple of extra pounds, making him a chunky boy. Due to this, he is currently on a special diet and needs to be with someone that can help him reach his fitness goals.

Kit really is a sweetie pie when he is comfortable. He will greet you with a big friendly meow, rub up against your legs and start purring. His ideal home would be somewhere quiet where he can feel safe and loved.

Paw note: Last week, we featured Banjo, Milo and Mais. Banjo is still looking for a home, but Milo and Mais have been adopted!

Don’t forget to register for the Million Paws Walk! With every step you take, you’ll be making a difference in the lives of animals in need.
