Dog of the week – Eddie
Eddie is an intelligent young gun who likes his music loud. This budding musician is more MOSH PIT than calming symphony … Yes, Eddie is a singer around other dogs to start but he so desperately wants to please and is learning new skills every day.
Eddie just needs a dog-skilled owner to teach this fun-loving young boy how to party appropriately and when it is time to call it a night. Eddie loves being around people and is eager to learn and, in the right hands, this bundle of sweet energy will grow into a smart, friendly companion.
We can see huge potential in young Eddie; you just have to get past his burst of enthusiasm to say hello first. For this reason, we recommend him for a home with older children who won’t be bowled over by his exuberant greetings.

Cat of the week – Bella
Meet Bella!
Brought to the shelter as a stray with a microchip that was out of date, Bella is looking for a forever home where she can live her best life with her favourite new people.
Bella loves people and will greet you with a cheerful meow and a rub on your legs, and she loooves to be petted and brushed as well. Bella loves to have all four feet firmly on the floor but will come and sit by your side for attention or stare at you affectionately from across the room.
She would ideally like to be the only cat in her new home but may be able to cope with a chilled-out canine who wouldn’t mind getting put in its place. She could live with sensible children as well, so long as they don’t try to pick her up.
