Cute Mors is looking for a family to call her own.

Meet our lovable ‘Pets of the Week’ looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

This week, say hello to the shy sweetheart Mors and enthusiastic for life Nelly.

Cat of the Week – Mors

Sweet but shy, Mors is a mature, quiet lady at the Shelter, but proved differently in her foster home environment. Mors’ foster family have told us she has lots of quirky little habits and is definitely in need of an experienced, somewhat eccentric family who live and breathe cats!

Mors is an early morning riser (regardless of weekday or weekend) and is very demanding for food when hungry. Mors loves a set routine and a clean litter tray, she has no hesitations in voicing concerns over it being dirty.

Next to you, or on you, Mors would love to share your bed and your heart. She may take some time to settle and is known to get up and rearrange herself during the night, with a bit of a meow to let you know.

Mors will need some time to settle into her new home, so it is important that there are no high expectations. Once comfortable, Mors will be the perfect cat companion for a stress-free, simple home with no other pets or children.

This lovely cat thrived in her foster home and got along really well with a mature female adult, so Mors would love to find a home that is similar.

Nelly is super enthusiastic and is looking for the perfect match!

Dog of the Week – Nelly

If you’re looking for a dog that will love you to pieces, then enthusiastic Nelly is certainly the girl for you.

Nelly loves to sit, play games and loves to take people out on walks as often as possible. Nelly has a slightly more boisterous side to her, but we think this just adds to her charm.

Nelly hasn’t had the best start to life, but she’s super keen on getting her second chance.

Nelly is enthusiasm plus! If you want a dog who will love you to pieces then this is the girl for you. She can sit, loves to please people and will take you out walking and playing games as often as possible.

This eager girl has plenty of energy to spare and will require regular exercise and enrichment to ensure that she keeps happy and healthy. Nelly loves to play with toys and enjoys fun games to use up her energy.

We recommend Nelly for a family with children 12 years and older. Please remember that all interactions between children and dogs/pups should be monitored.

Visit us at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston ACT 2611 and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
