Piper

Sweet Piper is looking for a patient and loving family ready to give her a second chance.

Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for forever homes at the RSPCA ACT Shelter!

Piper, Mistletoe and Elf are this week’s friendly Pets of the Week! These gorgeous animals are waiting to find their perfect match. Think that could be you? Read more about them below.

Dog of the Week – Piper

Piper is a sweet girl who is affectionate and loving with people she knows and trusts. After having a litter of puppies when she was only a baby herself, Piper is now ready to find her own forever home, just like all her pups have.

Piper takes a while to get to know new people, so will require a committed owner who can provide a quiet home environment with a regular and predictable routine. Piper has never known life as a loved family companion, so it will take her some time to adjust. Pipers new family will need lots of love and patience to ensure she settles in.

Piper has had minimal experience with the outside world, so children of any age are likely to be extremely overwhelming. Piper will best suit a home with no children, and with another male dog companion.

Piper cannot wait to find the right family ready to help her confidence grow!

Mistletoe and Elf

Mistletoe and Elf are a bonded pair looking for love! Could this be you?

Rabbits of the Week – Mistletoe & Elf

Meet Elf and Mistletoe! These bunnies were surrendered to the shelter after a change of circumstances and now they’re looking for a forever home to call their own. Elf and Mistletoe are inquisitive little bunnies who show some interest in people but are really each other’s true loves.

This pair don’t mind human company, especially when there are leafy green treats on offer, but are so-so when it comes to handling. These bunnies prefer to have all four feet on the floor. Elf and Mistletoe will benefit from a loving home with plenty of enrichment to help keep their minds happy and healthy.

This pair will fall in love with their new owners in due time, so will require loving, caring and patient humans willing to give them some time to settle in. Elf and Mistletoe may be able to live with sensible children, as long as they can be calm when around the animals. These buns do not appreciate loud and unexpected noises.

Visit the RSPCA at 12 Kirkpatrick St, Weston, and add a new companion to your life – you won’t regret it!
