As part of National Op Shop Week, Salvos Stores is bringing its style army to Canberra this September.

From the media release:

The Style Army encourages consumers to shop in their local Salvos Store and ‘Reinvent Fashion’ that is unique and affordable, to feel better by helping The Salvos continue their great work in the community, and to help the environment through purchasing recycled fashion.

The Style Army will be coming to the Phillip Salvos Store, with a Salvos Street Boutique popping up on Thursday 3rd September from 6.00pm.

A fashion show will also be staged to showcase the vintage and current recycled fashion trends found at your local Salvos Store. Faye De Lanty, TV fashion commentator, eco/op shop fashion blogger and brand ambassador for Salvos Stores (pictured above) will be available to give styling tips and advice throughout the evening.

Visitors can also pick up a copy of this year’s Salvos Stores The Style Army mini mag being released for National Op Shop Week, guest styled and edited by former glossy magazine editor and fashion icon Kirstie Clements.
