Bill Bailey’s new show – Qualmpeddler – has all the trademark Bailey elements, musical mash-ups, twisted logic, some political ranting, brilliant visuals and animation, a clear-eyed yet surreal view of the modern world, plus some new explorations of language inspired by a trip to China, where Bill’s experiences were stranger than surreal. This is what led the UK Daily Star to say about a recent gig “Bill Bailey is the most talented comic on the scene…”
RSPCA ACT provides a wide range of services to the Canberra community, including: a free lost and found service; pet care advice; veterinary clinic; animal cruelty inspectorate; dog and puppy training school; healthy, loving pets available for adoption; a pet supply store open seven days a week; programs to assist vulnerable members of the community; as well as opportunities for volunteers. RSPCA ACT is the only licensed wildlife carer in the ACT, with a network of licensed carers offering 24 hour support to the community.
Dedicated staff and volunteers work tirelessly throughout the year caring for sick, injured, lost, abandoned and unwanted animals. RSPCA ACT is a non-government organisation that relies on the community to fund around 85% of our financial needs.
