ACT Policing is calling for witnesses to a fire within a unit complex in Phillip at the weekend.
Sometime between 6pm Friday, March 29 and 5am Saturday, March 30 offenders have slashed the tyres of the resident’s car, set the unit on fire and stole two bicycles.
Police attended the location and saw the front door had been set alight and the inside of the unit had extensive smoke damage. The fire appeared to have self-extinguished however the unit may require a complete refurbishment.
No one was injured during the incident.
AFP Forensics attended and examined the scene.
Police would like to speak to any witnesses who saw anything suspicious between Friday and Saturday last weekend at Strathgordon Court in Phillip.
