Police are seeking witnesses to a road rage incident in Macquarie, during which a driver allegedly sprayed a substance through the open passenger window of another vehicle.

At about 1 pm on Monday, 27 December 2021, a blue Suzuki Vitara SUV was travelling east on Redfern Street toward Bindubi Street, Macquarie, with a silver sedan travelling behind it.

It is alleged the silver sedan pulled into the right-hand lane alongside the Suzuki and drove in a manner that almost caused the Suzuki to veer off the road.

It is also alleged the driver of the silver sedan was yelling aggressively and sprayed a substance through the open passenger window of the Suzuki at the driver, causing him to stop his vehicle on the side of the road.

Shortly after, the silver sedan stopped behind the Suzuki and the driver got out of his car and approached the Suzuki. Another altercation resulted in damage to the Suzuki and the silver sedan driving off.

Police are seeking any witnesses to the incident, or anyone who may have dashcam footage of the silver sedan around the time of the incident.
