The Canberra Cavalry has bolstered its media presence in Canberra with a new partnership with RiotACT.

The partnership means more behind-the-scenes, exclusive Cavalry content will be hitting the Sports pages of RiotACT this summer.

“We are shaking up regional media and baseball, which is now emerging as ‘the’ sports destination for the whole family,” RiotACT Director Tim White stated.

Tim White’s business partner, Michael McGoogan, said that the RiotACT wants to continue its support of Canberra and the local region.

“We are a proud Canberra company. Our local contributors and journalists write about the local news and we want to continue our support of Canberra and the surrounding area.”

Cavalry General Manager, Dan Amodio, is excited about the partnership, saying that RiotACT has a lot in common with the Cavalry.

“RiotACT is a fast-growing local business that knows and loves all things Canberra. In that way, we have a lot in common with them.”

The Cavalry has appeared on RiotACT a number of times, including a write up by contributor Elias Hallaj (aka CBR foodie) about the American-style food offerings, a visit to Bentspoke Brewery to capture a Cavalry-exclusive beer brew, and a recent piece giving away specialty jerseys celebrating Thanksgiving thanks to Rolfe Infiniti.

White said that there will be plenty of Canberra Cavalry action to come on RiotACT.

“Fast and furious Canberra Cavalry baseball action will be featuring on RiotACT because of this partnership between two innovative and disrupting organisations.”

Amodio says RiotACT readers and Cavalry fans can expect unique content in the near future.

“RiotACT knows that the Cavalry is one-part baseball and one-part entertainment, and they do such a great job covering the cultural aspects of our game. Content showcasing the food, the music, and the personalities of our players off the field fits very well in the Sports and Lifestyle section of the site.”

The partnership means RiotACT is the only place for Cavalry fans this summer, with an array of exclusive, behind-the-scenes content to be reported over the coming months.
