The Climate Whistleblowers are planning something big.
Everyone is invited to a “chaser-style stunt”, you just need to bring an umbrella and some touristy item. Will be a family friendly event “Codenamed The Picnic” on August 14 from 9:30am.
For those not aware, The Climate Whistleblowers is a group of ANU students, dedicated to combating the inaction regarding climate change by launching childish stunts. In the past they’ve dressed up as postmen from 2050 to march on the Legislative Assembly and prior to that were removed by security from Parliament House for disrupting question time by whistling. It’s faux-environmentalism at its best, but hey, it might be fun!
