ACT Policing has seized a double barrel shotgun and a handgun following the execution of a search warrant yesterday morning (Wednesday, May 8).
Members from ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations executed two search warrants on homes in Casey and Chisholm.
Police seized the firearms along with ammunition, a laser pointer and drugs suspected to be steroids from a house in Casey.
A 28-year-old man will be summonsed to attend the ACT Magistrates Court at a later date charged with offences relating to the seized items.A woman will be summonsed at a later date following the execution of the search warrant at a home in Chisholm.
Police located a small amount of fireworks, along with ammunition and some heroin. The woman will be summonsed in relation to the drug offence.
