Featured in the RiotACT Gig Guide this week are My Pet Ant, an electric folk duo featuring Henderson Miller and Scoob McGoon, whose work is self-described as “makin sweet music for your earholes.” Check them out at The Phoenix on Saturday night as they open for the Ians, as well as Kilroy, Nic Cage & the Bad Seats and H.
Groovin The Moo is on this Sunday at UC starring the likes of Baker Boy, Paul Kelly, Ball Park Music, Grinspoon and loads more. But if you can’t make that, there is a whole lot more happening in the nation’s capital including a big punk night at Transit on Thursday with Hack the Mainframe and Sketch Method, a TRANS-Atlantic Friday Night Fiesta at the Phoenix featuring the sounds of cumbia, tropical and Caribbean, as well as Dan Sultan at the Canberra Theatre on Saturday night.
