CALLING CANBERRA PAINTBALLERS
as per the header, UPRISING is recruiting for Canberra based players (ok, we’ll take others too!) interested in playing amateur or semi divisions in 2010.
In 2008 we played 2 rounds of 7s in semi-pro , finishing 4th and 3rd, plus div 2 in axl finishing 2nd. 2009 we just played 3 rounds of div 1 axl finishing 5th or 6th.
Depending on numbers looking at semi and or am division in 2010 in the new m7s format and possibly also some axl – still to be decided really. We’ve had a lean year and want to get numbers back up – if we get the numbers, teams in both semi and am divisions.
Average cost per tourney – maybe $600 +/- plus training costs – we can elaborate.
To start the ball rolling, next Thursday evening 10 December at the mint side of the ovals at Deakin (city side of the building) we’ll have a get together, play some touch and chat about plans.
So, new to paintball and serious about wanting to play tourneys or experienced, we’d like to see you.
