The 2010 Woden Valley Festival is on this Saturday at Eddison Park! Here’s a quick rundown of what you can expect.

Venue: Eddison Park Phillip. Eddison Park has recently been redeveloped and is looking an absolute treat.

Music: The main stage will feature music from a variety of genres including Roots, Blues, Folk, and Funk while the Liftoff stage you can hear Rock, Hip hop and Electronica.

The Woden Valley Festival is pleased to host some exciting local and interstate acts including Julia and the Deep Sea Sirens, Dan Banks Band and hip hop aficionados D’opus and Roshambo.

Themed Village: Relax and enjoy a variety of ‘villages’ based around the theme of ‘health, sustainability and lifestyle’ including a sustainability expo, interactive sports and ftiness village, free workshops and tons of great community information.

Food: The food at the Woden Valley Festival is a carnival for the tastebuds. Try wood fired pizza, Japanese pancakes Spanish tapas, Greek cuisine and even gelato and ice cream bars.

Performances: The vibrant entertainment stage will feature a colourful array of local performance groups including belly dancers, circus acts, cultural dances, cheerleading, hip hop, jazz and swing!

Amusement Rides: Roll up for dodgem cars, jumping castles and kids rides.

Kids Activities: Theres lots to see and do for the kids with rides, animal farm, puppet shows, storytelling, interactive fun park games and lots more.

Roving Performers: Roving performers will interact and entertain by performing throughout the crowd!
